POLICE spokesperson inspector Ramibert Muronga has confirmed the arrest of a woman (28) who on Thursday allegedly stabbed her boyfriend (43) to death.
The incident took place at Rehoboth’s Dunes area at Block E.
“It is alleged that the victim was accidentally stabbed by his girlfriend with a knife, when she fell from a plastic bucket she was standing on at home,” Muronga said.
The woman was allegedly busy drying dog meat on the roof when her boyfriend kicked the bucket she was standing on.
The man was stabbed in the neck and chest in the process, and was declared dead at the scene.
Muronga said the couple had a misunderstanding, which led to a physical fight.
Police investigations continue.
