A MAN (39) died at Walvis Bay on Wednesday after a wall collapsed on him and his co-worker (26).
According to the Erongo police, Matheus Wileinge and a co-worker were busy digging trenches next to the wall, which divides United Fishing Company and the navy base at the town, when it collapsed.
Paramedics declared Wileinge dead at the scene.
His colleague’s legs were injured, after which he was rushed to a private hospital.
The colleague is in a stable condition.
The men were employed by Sophos Architekton construction company.
Wileinge’s next of kin have been informed of the incident.
