A 42-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly attacked his nine-year-old daughter with a panga for eating his eggs.
The incident occurred on Friday at Engela laShikondongolo village.
This was announced in the police crime report by police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi on Sunday.
“It is alleged that the incident occurred during the evening when the father of the victim came home from the local cuca shops and allegedly found out about nine eggs eaten up by the victim and revenged by cutting the victim with the panga, ” Shikwambi said.
The victim was inflicted with multiple wounds and deep cuts on her body and was taken to Eenhana District State Hospital where her condition is described as stable, Shikwambi said.
