A 38-year-old man from the Oshikoto region was arrested on Saturday for allegedly stealing a herd of seven cattle.
The herd was recovered at Omeya Ntalala village, said
Oshikoto police regional commander commissioner Teopoline Nashikaku.
“When the suspect heard that the police were on his tail, he abandoned the cattle in the bush and fled.
“The suspect was finally arrested on Saturday and the cattle were recovered and handed over to the lawful owner, Induundu Nahambo,” she said.
